About this site

I have been wanting to make a website for over a year as it was on my to-do list, I think I have a better idea of what I dont want this site to be and that is a sellers site selling my wares like you see on Etsy and countless other websites looking to make money.

I wanted this site to document my woodworking journey and ultimately showcase what I have made in the past, what I want to make in the future, and try and document the process. This is not to say that I will never go into business for myself, but as I love my freedom to make what I want, when I want and take however long I want, to build woodworking projects for my home and friends.

I don't want to ruin my the hobby by making a business as woodworking can be expensive hobby if you want all the tools that I want to have, but for someone starting out it doesnt need to be that expensive. Never the less if you see something that you like on my site and would like me to make it for you for a fee please feel free to let me know.

I guess at the end of it all I would like to inspire other people to delve into the DIY world and make something with your own two hands and it doesn't even have to be made of wood, because you are lucky like me you get a tremendous feeling of accomplishment after you see the final product and you can say "Hey I made that"!!!

Please leave your feedback and comments either about some of the content on this site, or ask a question regarding woodworking or even just to say Hi, I appreciate any and all feedback.

One last thing that Im want you to bear in mind and that is that I am not a professional woodworker, I never went to school for this in fact I never really considered myself all that handy until I got the confidence by starting out on this journey. Everything that I know about woodworking is self thought, through making mistakes and taking the time in honing what I know and researching what I dont, practice, practice, practice makes perfect.

Thanks for reading and Have a Great Day.
