Plastic Tote Storage Unit ** PDF Plans**

These plans are extremely detailed with 27 pages of Step By Step written and supported by in-depth diagrams.

The Plans Include:

  • Color Pages that detail all steps in the build

  • A cut-list for the project

  • I also included a page detailing what tools are needed to do this project.

This project is also easy on the wallet as I only used 2x4's and the totes can be purchased at Home Depot for about $7 each.

I built this unit to organize toys in my living room, the unit holds two 64 quart tote's that can be stuffed with whatever you need.  This project is supper easy and can be completed in a weekend. You can make it super decorative if its going in a main living space or make totally utilitarian if your putting it in a basement. The project is totally customizable and is a great project in learning some fundamentals in woodworking such as aligning pieces up and marking out joinery (in this case butt joints, nothing elaborate)

I built this project in a weekend and I did dress it up a little  by putting a stain and also added some router profiles on some of the pieces.

This unit measures 31 1/2" High x 29 3/4" Wide x 17 1/2" Deep

If you have little children this storage unit is a fantastic way of organizing all there toys and it can look good as well.
